On January 29, 2009 at Davos Summit in Switzerland, Recep Tayyip Erdogan who was Turkish prime minister then left the meeting protesting Israeli prime minister and the moderetor of the meeting. It was known as "one minute event" because he said the word "one minute" while he was leaving the meeting.

Thereafter, sympathie for Erdogan was occurred in Arab countries due to his act. After this event Syria and Libya abolished visa requirements for Turkey in 2009. And stupefied people of Turkey have continued to see Erdogan and Turkish government as anti-Israel. Following the abolition of visas, many spies possibly might have entered Syria and Libya to mix up these countries.

About one year after this incident, a ship named Mavi Marmara which was allegedly shipped out to lend a hand to Gaza from Turkey in May 2010, was stopped and 10 people were killed by Israeli soldiers. This event rose sympathy for Turkey in Arab countries to the highest level.

One year after the abolition of visas, first Libya was mixed and then Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was lynched in September 2010. Libya slided into chaos, and its oil was seized. In March 2011, there was a riot in Syria. Hundreds of thousands of Syrians were killed. Millions of them became refugees. Only 3.5 million Syrians migrated to Turkey.

Recently, US President Trump said US troops would leave Syria. This time, stupefied people of Turkey began to believe that Turkey would take control of northern Syria and Kurds (PYD/YPG) would leave the area.

In fact, Turkish government apparently is not anti-Israel, rather it is an ally of Israel. Another fact is that the US will not abandon Kurdish formation in northern Syria.
