Democracy is known as a form of government in which citizens have equal rights to govern their country and decide together. In reality, however, it is a regime in which the sovereigns make and approve decisions that will be in their own interest as if they were the benefit of the majority.

In so-called contemporary democracy or liberal democracy, people are fooled by media manipulation. These stupefied people choose fools such as Trump in the US, Macron in France, and May in the UK. In the East, thieves and corrupt politicians are elected as if they were elected  for the benefit of the people.

Governments that rose to power with lies continue these lies in all their actions. For example, in the United States, it is considered Mexican immigrants or low tariffs responsible for the economic crisis. In England, the problem is shown as a membership with the EU. And in Turkey, in order to make the privatization process easier the government business enterprises have been shown as if they have had problems.

The most interesting thing is that the deceived masses continue to vote in every election hoping that their fate will change. If the manipulations of media are not enough in elections, governments start election frauds in countries such as Turkey and they resort to every means to remain in power..

The three things that are necessary for democracy are fair and clean elections that provide justice in the representation, the power which is controllable, and the voters who have the belief that the power will change with the elections. When even one of these three is lacking that means there is no democracy in that country. Voters voted believingly that there were these three conditions from the 1960s to the 2000s in Turkey. Those who read this article should ask themselves the following question and evaluate their democracies; to what extent can these three conditions be achieved in your country today?
